The International Postgraduate Student Conference to be held within the scope of the REUSE Jean Monnet Module aims to discuss the interrelationship between digitalisation and the circular economy in the context of the European Union on an interdisciplinary basis.
The main objective of the conference is to analytically examine how digital transformation can strengthen circular economy goals through which channels, how this interaction can be concretised in terms of resilience and sustainability outcomes, and which toolkits can produce more effective results, particularly from a policy design perspective. In this context, the aim is to bring together interdisciplinary contributions in the processes of restructuring production-consumption systems, increasing value supply resilience, and gaining social acceptance of the green transition, within the framework of accelerating structural changes centred on digital technologies, data governance, industrial transformation, and resource efficiency.
The research focus of the REUSE project directly intersects with the European Union's current policy agenda, which addresses green and digital transformation together. The conference encourages submissions that connect, conceptually or empirically, with policy frameworks such as the Circular Economy Action Plan, the 2030 Climate and Energy Framework, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Industry 4.0 strategies. The conference aims to increase the visibility of current postgraduate research; to strengthen the effective participation of young researchers in scientific debate within a conceptual framework aligned with the European Union's transformation agenda; and to establish an academic foundation for the development of evidence-based and actionable policy recommendations for integrating digitalisation with circular economy objectives. In this regard, the conference is open to sector- and institution-focused analyses, comparative approaches, research informed by field applications, and designs incorporating methodological innovations, in addition to theoretical studies.

Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts should be 250–300 words in length and clearly state the research objective/question, methodology, and expected/obtained findings, as well as the scientific contribution. Three to five keywords should be included. A brief CV should also be submitted with the abstract.
